We know that, In a deck of 52 cards we have :-

  • 13 clubs cards (Black)
  • 13 spades cards (Black)
  • 13 diamonds cards (Red)
  • 13 hearts cards (Red)

So,

→ Total number of outcomes = 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 = 52

and,

→ Total favourable outcomes = 13 diamonds cards (Red) + 13 hearts cards (Red) = 26

then,

→ Required probability = Total favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes

→ Required probability = 26/52
