Answer:

a) Eating the same thing every day or repeating meals and ingredients throughout the week may help you lose weight or stick with your diet. It can also cause organ failure, due to amino acid deficiency. On top of that, you'd get scurvy, a horrific disease brought on by lack of vitamin C, an essential component of many of the body's chemical reactions.

b) Carbohydrates, proteins, fat, minerals.

c) We can use iodine solution to test for the presence of starch. If starch is present is a food item, it turns blue-black colour when iodine solution is added to it.

d) Shake or crush the food to make it dissolve. Filter or dilute the food and ethanol mix so that you get a clear liquid (a solution of fat in ethanol). Add this to a test tube of water. A white (milk-like) emulsion indicates the presence of fats or oils.
