Explanation:

James mill divided indian history into three parts-

1. Hindu

2. Muslim

3.british

But the problem was

1.can you divide any period on the basis of the king's religion

2. Many religions, faiths existed even though the king was a Hindu or Muslim

James mill's periodisation was not accepted by other historians.

At the time British arrived in India , it was already a secular "type" of country.

Explanation:

Soil is defined as the upper layer of the earth composed of loose surface material.

It is a mixture of many substances including an endless variety of minerals, remnants of plants and animals, water and air.

It is the end product of continuing interaction between the parent material, local climate, plant and animal organisms, and elevation of the land.

When the soil is lost, property and culture are also lost.

Therefore, it is a valuable national and fundamental earth resource of the country.

Major Soil Types

The soils of India are broadly divided into the following six types:

[1] Alluvial Soils

[2] Black Soils (Regur)

[3] Red Soils

[4] Laterite Soils

[5] Desert Soils

[6] Mountain Soils
