THE SULPHIDE ORES ARE FIRST HEATED IN THE PRESENCE OF AIR TO FORM ITS METAL OXIDE.

FOR EXAMPLE,

2 ZNS + 3 O2 ====== 2 ZNO + 2 SO2

THEN THE METAL OXIDE IS THEN ALLOWED TO REACT WITH A REDUCING AGENT SUCH AS CARBON TO DISPLACE METAL FROM ITS METAL OXIDE.

2 ZnO + C ======2 Zn + CO2

THEN THIS METAL IS THEN PURIFIED TO GET A PURE METAL.

I HOPE IT HELPS. PLEASE LIKE IT AND MARK IT AS THE BRANLIEST ANSWER.
