Lymphocytes :

  • Lymphocytes are typical white blood cells while deal with the immune responses of the organisms

  • White Blood Cells also known as Leucocytes are produced in the bone marrow through a process called Leucopiosis

  • Lymphocytes are further of two types : T Lymphocytes and B Lymphocytes depending upon the site where they mature

  • B Cells mature in the site of production unlike T Cells which migrate to Thymus Gland to mature. Thymus Gland is located dorsally on the Thyroid Gland

  • T Cells and B Cells handle different immune responses,i.e viral and bacterial respectively
