Answer:

⠀⠀⠀Process of Respiration

Respiration is the production of bio - energy in the form of ATP in Living Organisms.

\sf C_6H_{12}O_6{\tiny(Gluocse)}+6O_2{\tiny(Oxygen)}\:{\xrightarrow{Enzymes}}\:6CO_2+H_2O+Energy

In higher organisms, respiration consist of four steps Breathing, External Respiration, Internal Respiration and Cellular Respiration.

\underline{\textbf{1. Breathing :}}

It is bringing of oxygen from fresh air to respiratory surface and taking of CO₂ which foil air to the outside.

\underline{\textbf{2. External Respiration :}}

It is exchange of gases that occurs at the respiratory surface. O₂ diffuse into blood while CO₂ passes out of the blood.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀97% of oxygen combines hemoglobin of RBC to form oxyhemoglobin. Only 3% of oxygen dissolve in blood plasma.

\underline{\textbf{3. Internal Respiration :}}

It occurs in tissue. The O₂ diffuse from blood capillaries to the cells and CO₂ from cells into blood capillaries.

\underline{\textbf{4. Cellular Respiration :}}

Sachs (1890) state that respiration can occur with or without oxygen. There are two types of it –

  • Aerobic : It occurs in the presence of oxygen. Ex : Human Beings.
  • Anaerobic : It occurs in the absence of oxygen. Ex : Bacteria.

Hey mate

Respiration is the process leading to,and including the chemical breakdown(oxidation) of food material to provide energy for life....

Respiration is one of the important process in living beings..... Respiration is also called as cellular respiration as it occurs in the living cell of every living beings:plants & animals too

Respiration are of two types:-

  1. AEROBIC RESPIRATION
  2. ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION
