Answer ⇒ 3,3 dimethyl butan-2-ol.

Explanation ⇒ When 3,3 dimethyl butene reacts with the water in acidic medium they will form, 3,3 dimethyl butan-2-ol.

The Reaction goes as per as the Markonikov's rule.

According to the Markonikov's rle, the positive part will be attached to that carbon which contains the maximum no. of hydrogen and the negative part is attached to that carbon which contains the minimum no. of hydrogen.

In the Given Reaction,

  CH₂=CH-C(CH₃)₂-CH₃ + H₂O --------⇒ CH₃-CH(OH)-C(CH₃)₂-CH₃

Hope it helps.
