Rule 1:

The product of a negative integer and a positive integer is a negative integer.

Rule 2:

The product of two positive integers or two negative integers is a positive integer. That means if you multiply two OF the same sign numbers, the product is always positive. SAME.

This is in fact the reason why the negative numbers were introduced: so that each positive number would have an additive inverse. ... The fact that the product of two negatives is a positive is therefore related to the fact that the inverse of the inverse of a positive number is that positive number back again

the product of three negative no. is a negative no.

For e.g.

let -2×-3×-4= 6(because minus × minus =plus)×-4

=-24(because plus multiply by minus = minus)
