The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan is also known as theEducation for All movement or 'Each One Teach One'. It was introduced in 2000-2001 as the flagship programme run by the Government of India. Aims:-

1. To provide useful and elementary education for all children in the 6-14 age group by 2010.
