Given,circumference=1017.36

We know, Circumference of a circle=2πr

This gives,

2πr=1017.36 ( π=22/7 or 3.14)

2 x 22/7(or3.14) x r = 1017.36

For convenience we use π=3.14

r=1017.36/2 x 3.14

r = 1017.36/6.28

r = 162

Hence radius is 162 unit (it can be mm,cm,m or km as per the questions)

Hope it helped you

Given:

The circumference of a circle = 1,017.36 units

Let the radius of a circle = r

We have to find, the radius of a circle (r) is:

Solution:

We know that:

The circumference of a circle = 2πr

∴ 2πr = 1,017.36

⇒ 2 × 3.14 × r = 1,017.36

⇒ 6.28 × r = 1,017.36

⇒ r = \dfrac{1,017.36}{6.28}

⇒ r = \dfrac{101736}{628}

⇒ r = 162 units

The radius of a circle (r) = 162 units

Thus, the radius of a circle (r) is equal to "162 units".
