HOPE IT HELPS :

Zeros of a polynomial :

The value of given variable for which the value of polynomial becomes zero is known as the zeros of the polynomial.

Solution :

Let f(x) = 2(x-1)(x-3)

Putting the value of function  be zero .

f(x)=0

2(x-1)(x-3)=0

Hence the zeros of function comes out to be

x = 1 or 3

Sum = 1+3 = 4

Product = 1 x 3 = 3

Ratio = Sum /Product

Ratio = 4/3

Hence the required ratio is 4:3
