2(NH4Cl) + Ca(OH)2 = (CaCl)2 + 2(NH3) (g) + 2(H2O). Ammonium chloride reacts with calcium hydroxide to form ammonia. This reaction is used to recover ammonia in the preparation of sodium carbonate from NaCl . When ammonium chloride and calcium hydroxide react it forms calcium chloride , water and ammonia gas.

Answer:
NO REACTION OCCURS.
Explanation:
Ammonium hydroxide is a weak base that means on ionisation it can form low concentration of [OH-] ions. Because of the concentration of OH- ions from the ionisation of NH4OH is low that it cannot react with calcium salts to precipitate the hydroxide of calcium.
