what is the reason behind the presence of droplets on the underside of a plate that is put on a hot glass of milk?
Explanation:
Milk is a fatty liquid produced in mammals for nourishment of their young ones. Humans have many domesticated animals like cows, buffaloes , sheep etc which are used as a source of milk.
The process of the conversion of liquid water into water vapors is known as evaporation and the reverse is known as condensation.
A major component of milk is water.
When milk is heated, the water present in the milk starts to evaporate.
So, when the heated milk is covered by a plate, the evaporating water condenses on the underside of the plate and forms droplets.
