What is the reason for getting muscle cramps when you run very fast?

Explanation:

There are two types of respiration aerobic and anaerobic respiration. When we undergo rigorous physical activity, the muscle cells have a limited supply of oxygen and thus undergo anaerobic respiration. the end products of this are lactic acid and a tiny bit of energy. when excess of lactic is produced, it gets concentrated in the muscle cells leading to cramps.

There two types of respiration in absence of oxygen, one of them happens in our muscles. At that time lactic acid is produced due to which cramps come. It mainly happens to athletes and the second one happens in yeast , in yeast alcohol i.e. Ethanol is produced.
