What is the reason for slightly different physical properties of all the isotopes of an element

Here is your answer .......


The elements have same atomic numbers but different atomic mass.

The physical properties of isotopes are all most same because they are same element... only they have more number of neutrons in their atom.

For example :- Cl have atomic number = 17

But have mass = 35u and 37u.
