In the poem "The Brook" the poet Lord Tennyson wrote

To join the drummer river,

For men may come and men may go,

But I go on for ever.

This stanza is the "Refrain" of this poem.

By these lines, the poet talks about the soft flowing of a stream. It was flowing since it forgot and it continues still eternity. In the way, it faces many hurdles but it moves, it never stops. It moves until it "joins the drummer river."
