Coniferous forests:-They are found in the Himalayan mountain areas where the temperature is low.
Evergreen forsets:- the Western Ghats are found in high rainfall areas located in Northeast India and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands. These forests thrive in areas where the monsoon lasts for several months. These trees stick together to form a continuous roof.
Humid mangrove forests:- are found everywhere in the Nicobar Islands and northeast. These forests are made up of tall, straight evergreen trees whose trunks or roots are of a tripodal shape so that they stand upright even in storms.
