According to Newtonian gravitational equation we get F=GMm/r^2
Dividing the whole equation by the object's mass we get
g=GM/r^2
Thus here M that's mass of earth is mentioned now assuming earth to be almost spherical we get the volume as 4/3πr^3
Now density=mass/volume
Thus mass can be written as density*volume
Now
g= density*4/3πr^3/r^2
g= density*4/3πr
