According to Newtonian gravitational equation we get F=GMm/r^2

Dividing the whole equation by the object's mass we get

g=GM/r^2

Thus here M that's mass of earth is mentioned now assuming earth to be almost spherical we get the volume as 4/3πr^3

Now density=mass/volume

Thus mass can be written as density*volume

Now

g= density*4/3πr^3/r^2

g= density*4/3πr

That's all
