The relation between central nervous system and peripheral nervous system is that the communication between the central nervous system and other parts of the body is facilitated by peripheral nervous system consisting of cranial nerves arising from brain and spinal nerves arising from the spinal cord.

The main difference between the CNS (Central Nervous System) and the PNS (Peripheral Nervous System) is the CNS looks over the nerves of the Brain and the Spinal Cord and the PNS looks after the other body nerves.
Simply termed as the CNS is the command station of brain and the spinal cord where the PNS is the command station of the body nerves.
