Answer:

The simple relation between Force, Pressure and Area is written as: P = F / a. Where P is the pressure in N/m², F is the force in N and a is the cross - sectional area in m². Thus pressure can be defined as the force per unit area. The larger the force exerted per unit area, the larger the pressure.

Answer:

Pressure can be defined as the ratio of force applied and area on which it acts. So it is related to force and area as per the law : pressure = force/area.

For example : Consider a case when you are walking over an ice platform wearing a skate. Ever noticed your skates have large surface area ? Whybis it so ? Because if your whole mass is concentrated over a small area ( in case you wear a shoe having pointed heels) then your whole mass has to bear by a small portion of ice platform which if it can’t then you will fall. However if you wear shoes having large base ( ice skates) then your whole mass will be beared by comparitively larger part of the ice as a result of which you won’t fall.
