The crown of the tree consists of the branches, leaves and other parts of plants. The leaves are the part where the food is synthesised by the process of photosynthesis; thus, the crown is providing the energy to the plant. The plant are fixed in the soil via roots which are involved in absorbing the water and minerals from the soil; thus, they supply water and other nutrients to the plants. Hence, both are related to each other.
