Electrochemical equivalent of a substance may be defined as the mass of the substance deposited when a current of 1Ampere is passed for 1 Second , i.e a quantity of electricity of one Coulomb is passed .
or
Electrochemical equivalent. Theelectrochemical equivalent, sometimes abbreviated Eq, of a chemical element is the mass of that element (in grams) transported by 1 coulomb of electricity. Theelectrochemical equivalent of an element is measured with a voltameter.

abdulrazzaque84: thanks ECE i understood bt what about CE is it the simply equivalent mass of any element or what
RohitDeshmukh: I'm not sure about it and i even don't want to miss guide you so please confirm it with someone else also
abdulrazzaque84: ok then
RohitDeshmukh: hope it was a bit helping
