On 23rd September, in the northern hemisphere it is autumn and in the southern hemisphere it is spring.
On 22nd December it is summer in the southern hemisphere and winter in the northern hemisphere.
By applying the Equinoxes and the Solstices we can know how the seasons are reversed in the Northern and Southern hemisphere. When it is summer in the Northern hemisphere it is winter in the Southern hemisphere.

Answer:
the northern and Southern hemisphere experience opposite type of season when it is Spring in Northern hemisphere on 21st March it will be autumn in south and hemisphere similarly in case of store solstice when it is summer solstice in Northern hemisphere it is Winter solstice in Southern hemisphere it is because of the earth's Axis tilted and due to rotation the position of the part of earth facing the sun changes and the position of the poles changes from facing towards the sun to away from the Sun .. so they have oppsite seasons..
hope it helps!!✌
