RMS speed is inversely proportinal

to square root of molecular weight..

So,RMS speed of N2/RMS speed of H2=Molecular weight of H2/Molecular weight of N2

Speed of N2/Speed of H2=2/28=1/14

Hence,H2 diffuses 14 times as that pf N2
