resistance of connecting wire depends on many factors like the material taken(which is copper usually), the length of the wire and area of cross section of the wire.
if you know the length(l), area of cross section(A), and resistivity of the material(rho-ρ)
then you can calculate it by ρ×l÷A.

Coming to resistivity of ammeter, it is very very low, and that of voltmeter is very very high.
