Abdul kalam father played a major role in Abdul Kalam's life. Adual Kalam's family was poor and even in that condition they were ready to teach him . They also encouraged him in many ways. Dr. Kalam's father's name was Jainulabudeen, a boat owner. His father owned a ferry that took Hindu pilgrims back and forth between Rameswaram and the now-extinct Dhanushkodi. He came from a poor family. But he is a perfect example of becoming nobody to renowned personality due to his determination, hard work and persistent efforts.
