Role of communication in the organisation.

1) Necessary to achieve goals - The one common goal of the business organisation is to earn profits and this goal can be achieved onky if the employees in the organisation keep communicating with each other..

2) Essential for planning and coordination - - Effective planning is the basis for planning. Planning refers to thinking before doing anything... For that purpose the members of top management must sit together and frame policies and give direction to the employees for their execution. Coordination is must between these group, which can be achieved only by an effective system of communication at all levels of management.

3) Effective control - It is only through the communication that the upper management can maintain control over the lower levels.

4) Essential for avoiding disputes - Disputes and strikes occur when the relation between boss and the workers lacks effective communication. So the management must take care to maintain a regular communication with lower staff so as to promote industrial peace.

5) Helps in motivation and leadership - Management can motivate and lead employees onky through communication by telling them what they have to do and how to do that... Only by communication the leaders i.e managers guides and supervise his employees too..

6) Helps in decision making - For taking decisions by the management and for effective implementation, a good communication system in the enterprise is a primary requirement. The information is received and well passed to the employees only through communication network...
