geography is not just a social science it is the science with social element to it.it includes the study of distribution of populations and resources and political and economic activities. so as it affects the people living in the particular area in many ways, it is a part of social sciences.

* In geography the surface features of Earth are studied. eg-landforms, weather, soils, oceans, water etc.
* geography -human geography.
physical geography.
