An Internet service provider (ISP) is an organization that provides services for accessing, using, or participating in the Internet. Internet service providers may be organized in various forms, such as commercial, community-owned, non-profit, or otherwise privately owned.

Answer:

what is ISP ?

ISP is nothing but the internet service providers. They are the ones who provide internet to us.

types of ISP :

satellite: satellite access provides very quick internet speeds. this type of connection is mostly used in rural areas because they do not get DSL and cable connection.

wifi : this is the most commonly used internet service. we can see the usage of this type of internet every now and there. this is slower than DSL and cable connection.

dialup : this is a very slow type of internet. you have to have a modem for this.  two or more communication devices use a public  network  to connect to an Internet service provider (ISP).

DSL : digital subscriber line is a very high speed network where a users device is connected to the telephone line.

cable : this provides an existing line that is shared by different users to provide internet to your cable TV. it is not as fast as DSL.
