In the large intestine there lives a vitamin producing bacteria called commensal bacteria which produces vitamin K and vitamin B in large quantities.

In large intestine , Antibodies are produced by lymphoid tissues to protect body from common commensal bacteria but it's also effective against other harmful bacterias.
