ROLE OF MANGROVES:
prevents erosion.
they filters pollutants
mangrove wood is very valuable.
their leaves are used to feed animals.

mangroves are under threat because of the large population , growth of harbours ,changing climate and bad smell.

we can protect them by not cutting them for human settlements , or for flourishing harbours.
