manufacturer sector play an important role in Indian economy almost half of our GDP is depend on manufacturing sector

it provide more number of employment than other two sector

it is also called service sector because it provides services

1. The Manufacturing sector, also called the Secondary sector or perhaps the Industrial sector, has led to the setting up of factories and thus Industries.

2. This made possible the shift of the people from the farms to be employed in factories in huge numbers (thus generating employment opportunities).

3. This also led to people using factory produced goods at cheap rates (thus contributing to the total production as well).
