nature has given him(author) a positive medium. It has caused him a great change within. When the poet was in an awful and a sad mood, a crow sitting in the hemlock tree shook and the flakes of snow fell from the tree.
This changed the mood of the poet and he was happy for a wonderful life and a beautiful day. Nature was thus his inspiration and a medium of positivity.
