Mammals are warm blooded animals which mean they can’t change their body temperature according to the climate or weather change. They have to maintain constant body temperature and in order to do that they have to cool their body temperature when it is hotter outside and warm their body when it is colder outside. And they require more oxygen to maintain their body temperature.
