saliva is present in our mouth. it is secreted by salivary glands. it completes half of digestion in mouth. it makes food soften. it makes the food as starch and send it to oesophagus

It helps in moistening food and helping to create a food bolus,It also helps in swallowing,It completes half of digestion in mouth
