No doubt,communal harmony is the need of hour.The students can play a major role in bringing harmony & peace in the country. India is a country where people of different region live together. India is the country where people of different religion live together.India is the country dominated by Hindus. They form about 80% of the population . But it has big Muslim Minority. India contains the second largest Muslim population in the world. There are also other religious group.They are Sikhs, Christians, Jain & Buddhist. Indian culture is a composite culture. Our constitution declares India as a democratic & secular nation.But unfortunately nation witnessed so many communal riots. The recent riots in Gujarat took a heavy toll of human lives & property.Students are very strong & dynamic force. They are full of patriotic feeling . They can become torch bearers of nationalism, communal harmony & peace.The students of India played a major role during the nation struggle for independence. They can start a war against the virus of Communal ism. They can play the same role in maintaining communal harmony. They can urge people to boycott communal groups & parties. Their sincere efforts in this direction will certainly help in maintaining communal harmony & peace in the country.I humbly request to all the students and youth of nation to come forward and stop this ridiculous act . Reservation on basis of caste should be stopped otherwise the day when each and every section of society asking for reservation is not far away . We nowadays seeing in news channels about the violence and demoralization in Gujarat by the patidar (patel)
