In chemistry, a saturated solution is a solution in which no more solvent can be dissolved.
Think of it this way:
You have a cup of water.
You pour salt into the water, and it dissolves, right?
Keep pouring salt into the water… and keep pouring until no more salt dissolves. It just stays in it’s crystalline form at the bottom of the cup.
That solution (water + salt) is saturated with salt (solvent)
I hope this helps!
