Ohh really!! You asked about MAE.
Well the sad news is that it's going to be vanished from this year :(
But hey wait..
Isn't it a good news that it will be merged in all-famous-mechanical of DTU with one year specialisation in automotive engineering/industry.
Actually this branch was not doing much good at DTU. Reasons are :-
Automobile and Designing industry is not much developed in India. Very few automobile companies have their R&D centres in India.This branch is not much reputed in DTU. So what to say about outside!Though there are a good no. of automotive teams/societies making all sorts of vehicles, placement opportunities are not great.Syllabus is not very exact. You may have to study many less important or non-related things.This is a setback. Most of the PSUs don't value the degree of MAE as ..
