Given :-

  • A triangle having sides 2 cm, 3 cm and 5 cm.

To Find :-

  • The Semi Perimeter of traingle = ?

Answer :-

  • The Semi Perimeter of traingle = 5 cm

Explaination :-

As we know that, Semi Perimeter of ∆ is given by formula :

  • Semi Perimeter = a + b + c ÷ 2

Where, the sides of ∆ is :

  • a = 2 cm

  • b = 3 cm

  • c = 5 cm

Now, subsitute the value of a, b, c in above given formula :

→ Semi Perimeter = 2 + 3 + 5 ÷ 2

→ Semi Perimeter = 10 ÷ 2

→ Semi Perimeter = 5 cm

Hence,Semi Perimeter of traingle is 5 cm.

Extra Shots :-

  • Area of triangle using Heron's formula = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

  • Area of right angled triangle = 1/2 × b × h
