Septum is the seperation wall in the heart which prevents the mixing of oxygenated blood and de-oxygenated.
the seperation of oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood is necessary in warm blooded animals bcoz warm blooded animals like us have to maintain our body temperature which can just be achieved if we have enough energy to do this...
