what is the shape of the displacement - time graph for uniform linear motion

in uniform linear motion velocity is constant .
v=displacement/time.
as v is constant,
comparing it with y= MX+ C. (equation of straight line) we have ,
y= displacement,
m= v,
x= time,
C= 0,
hence the graph is a straight line passing through origin.
