the significance of Himalayan rang in India are:
1.it influence climate of India
2.source of rivers i.e Ganges(ganga)
3.protects from outside invaders.(defence)
4.hydroelectricity:because there are so many waterfalls located at Himalayan mountains it helps to produce hydroelectricity from it.
5.minerals:there are many precious stones and minerals in Himalayan localities.
6.tourist place:many tourists go to Himalayas to enjoy the sites of beautiful landscapes.
7.pilgrimage:there are many Hindu pilgrimage place near Himalayas like Kedharnath, Badrinath, Amarnath and Vaishnav devi.
8.forest wealth:forests of Himalayas provides medicinal herbs and industrial fuel.
9.agriculture:there are certain fruits and nuts that can only be cultivated in cold places. apples, peach, pear, walnut extra ....are grown near Himalayas. tea is grown in Himalayan reigns because there are many terraced slopes.
