Hey mate here is ur answer...

The movement of plant in response to stimuli is called as tropic movement. This stimulus is responsible for the movement of the plant parts towards or away from it. Depending on the movement it the plant, it is classified as positive movement and negative movement.

For example, in case of phototropic movement, shoots respond by bending towards light while roots respond by bending away..

chemotropism The growth or movement of a plant or plant part in response to a chemical stimulus. An example is the growth of a pollen tube down the style during fertilization in response to the presence of sugars in the style.
