Uttarayan is India’s one of the major festival. On this day, the sun moves to Tropic of Cancer from Tropic of Capricorn. It's the festival celebrated all over India with different names. In Maharashtra it's called Makarsankranti, in Tamil Nadu it's called Pongal, in Assam it's called Bihu, in Pnb and Haryana it's called Lohri and in UP its called Khichdi.
