(-6,-7)     (6,-5)
(x1,y1)   (x2,y2)

slope = m = ?

m = y2-y1/x2-x1

m = -5-(-7)/6-(-6)

m = -5+7/6+6

m = 2/12

m = 1/6

slope = m = 1/6

Hi ,

************************

Slope( m ) of a line passing through

the points ( x1 , y1 ) and ( x2 , y2 )

= ( y2 - y1 )/ ( x2 - x1 )

******************************

Here ,

( x1 , y1 ) = ( - 6 , -7 )

( x2 , y2 ) = ( 6 , - 5 )

slope ( m ) = [ -5 - ( -7 ) ]/[ 6 - ( -6 ) ]

m = ( -5 + 7 )/ ( 6 + 6 )

m = 2/12

m = 1/6

I hope this helps you.
