What is the smallest number by which 392 should be multiplied so that the product is a perfect cube?

Let us take the LCM of 392 first.
LCM of 392=2x2x2x7x7.
Therefore, 2 doesn't have a pair which means it must be multiplied to 392.
Hence, 392x2=784.
And... 784 is a perfect sq. and 2 is the smallest no. to be multiplied to 392
