Hey mate !!

Thanks for the question !!

Here's the answer !!

Well Elements are known as pure substances which cannot be further divided into smaller particles. But if they are divided further we can get some more smaller particles called atoms.

These atoms on further division leads to the particulate matter called sub - atomic particles. They are known as Protons, Neutrons and electrons.

Protons are particles having a slight Positive charge. They are inside the nucleus of an atom.

Neutron is a neutral particle with no charge. It contributes to the mass of an atom. It is also present in the nucleus.

Electrons are particles having a slightly negative charge. It revolves around the nucleus, thus used in chemical reactions.

When these sub - atomic particles are further divided, we get the smallest of the smallest particles called quarks. These are the smallest particles of an atom which join together to form sub - atomic particles and that of an atom also at the final end.

So the smallest part of an element is called as the quarks. They are measured using the unit of Fermi ( 10^-15 )

Hope my answer helped !!

Cheers !!

Hey mate!

Here's your answer!!
___________________

-»-»-»-»-» Simply, an element is substance that can not be further broken down into chemically distinct parts.

✶ An atom is the smallest part of the element that can exist and can still have the properties of the element. 【ANS】
____________________

✶ Every atom is made up of three different mad individual parts, that are, protons, neutrons and electrons.

〟Proton ➡ It is a subatomic particle that has positive electric charge. Protons are found in the nucleus of the atom.

〟Electron ➡ It is a subatomic particle that has negative electric charge. It gives charge to the atom of an element. They exist in orbitals around the nucleus.

〟Neutron ➡ It has no charge. It is a subatomic neutral particle that has the same mass as of the protons. It is also found in the nucleus of atom.

✶ Furthermore, these protons and electrons can also be divided into the smallest particles called the quarks.
