What is the solution set for - 4x + 10 > 5x + 55 ?

I'm assuming the first term is negative of 4x i.e. (-4x)

Answer will be x is all numbers which are less than -5.

-4x +10 > 5x +55

-45> 9x

-5> x

Now solution set depends upon what is the universal set..you have not specified if x is integer or real number or natural number or what..

But its is all real numbers then.

Solution set ={ -6, -7,-8,-9...}

... means upto negative infinity
