Answer:

The solutions of the equations are a = 3 and c = 4 .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given

2a – 3c = –6

a + 2c = 11

Multiply a + 2c = 11 by 2 and subtrated from  2a – 3c = –6 .

2a - 2a -3c -4c = -6 -22

-7c = -28

c = \frac{-28}{-7}

c = 4

Putting the value of c in the equation a + 2c = 11 .

a + 2 × 4 = 11

a + 8 = 11

a = 11 - 8

a = 3

Therefore the solutions of the equations are a = 3 and c = 4 .
