Kanyakumari is the “southernmost tip of mainland of India”.

Kanyakumari is a city situated on the far southern coast of Tamil Nadu province. It is the site of viewing the three seas “The Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal”.

Kanyakumari has been ruled under some of the South India’s great rulers like Cholas, Cheras, Pandyas. The name of this place (Kanyakumari) has a mythological fact behind the “temple Devi Kanya Kumari”. Due to being at the end of the country's map, most of the people like to visit it.
